Wedding video editing by culture and tradition

Every tradition has its own events, people and sounds. These guides cover wedding traditions and their named events, from a sangeet or a nikah to a tea ceremony: what usually happens, what to film, and what to write in the preference questions so WeddingEditor's AI editing builds the film around the moments the family cares about. Practice varies by family and region, so the guides describe what is common, not what is required.

Questions

Does WeddingEditor know every tradition?

No editor knows every family. WeddingEditor works from what you write in the preference questions: the events, the people and their roles, the moments that must be in the film and anything to leave out.

Can I get a separate edit for one event, like a mehndi or a tea ceremony?

Yes. Create a project for that event and upload only its footage. Each project produces one edit, a Highlight Reel or a Social Teaser.

Does WeddingEditor decide what is appropriate to show from a religious ceremony?

No. That comes from the family, the venue and you. If filming was limited, the edit works with what was captured, and the avoid question keeps anything else out of the film.
