How to get a Telugu reception highlight

Put the reception in its own project
A reception often has a different guest list and a different look from the muhurtham, so many videographers edit it separately. Create the project, choose the deliverable, and upload everything from the hall: entrance, stage, dinner and dance floor, from every camera.

Say what to skip
The stage line can run for hours and most of it looks the same. Name the guests who matter most, such as grandparents, close friends or a performer, list the entrance, any cake cutting, dances or speeches as must-include moments, and use the avoid question to keep the queue short.

Get the finished highlight
Pay or use a credit and start processing; it typically takes 24 to 72 hours. The edit then appears in your project to watch and download in 1080p. Ask for changes by email, up to two rounds.

The entrance

What happens at a Telugu reception, in order
A common pattern. Many receptions leave out parts of it or add their own.
1. Arrival and entrance
Guests arrive at a hall or hotel, and the couple enter together, often after changing out of their ceremony clothes.
2. The stage
The couple sit or stand on a decorated stage while guests come up to congratulate them, hand over gifts and have photographs taken. This can be the longest part of the evening.
3. Dinner and entertainment
A meal is served, and depending on the family there may be a DJ, a live band, dance performances by relatives, a cake or a few speeches.
4. A wider guest list
Receptions often include colleagues, friends and neighbors who did not attend the ceremony, so many faces will be new even to the couple's relatives.

What is a Telugu wedding reception?
It is the social celebration after a Telugu wedding, hosted for family, friends and a wider circle of guests, centered on the couple receiving greetings on a stage, a meal and, in many families, music and dancing. A reception highlight is a short WeddingEditor edit of that evening alone.

Telugu reception video questions
The stage line went on for three hours. How do I stop it filling the reception highlight?
Name the handful of guests who matter in the specific people question and write something like "keep the stage greetings short" in the avoid question. The edit is built around the people and moments you list.
The reception was in a different city a week later. Is that a problem?
No. Create a project for the reception whenever it happens and upload its footage there. Each project is independent, so it does not need to be tied to the wedding project.
Can the reception and the muhurtham be in one highlight?

Will the DJ's songs be in the reception edit?
Songs recorded in the hall can stay, and music supports them at the balance your audio preference sets. Remember that music recorded at a venue may still need a license if the couple posts the film publicly.
