A romantic wedding teaser that opens on their voice
A romantic Social Teaser has room for one idea, so it should open on the strongest thing the couple said or did and close before the story is told. The usual choice is a single spoken line, a vow, a letter or something whispered during the first look, set against one or two close images of the two of them, with the ending held on a look or a touch. Ask for that in the preference questions and WeddingEditor's AI editing cuts the teaser from your footage, in widescreen.
A teaser is a promise of the film, not a summary of the day. Leave the speeches, the guests and the schedule for the longer edit.

How to brief a romantic teaser
- 1
Create a Social Teaser project
Choose Social Teaser when you create the project. It is the project's only edit, so if you also want a Highlight Reel of the same wedding, that is a second project with its own purchase or credit. Upload the footage the teaser could draw on, or the whole day if you are not sure.
- 2
Name one line and one image
In the preferences choose Romantic & Elegant and the couple as priority, then write the single line the teaser should open on and the image you want it to end on. A short brief is better here than a long list: the shorter the edit, the more each choice matters.
- 3
Watch, download, share it yourself
Processing typically takes 24 to 72 hours. Watch the finished teaser in your project, download the MP4 and post or send it yourself; WeddingEditor never sends anything to your couple. Up to two revision rounds by email are included if the opening line is not the one you meant.
Opening and closing beats for a romantic teaser
A romantic teaser is mostly its first and last beat. These are the kind of notes that fix both.
Open on a whisper
"Open on his whispered 'you look like you' from the first look, over black or over her back turning."
Open on a vow
"First words heard: her vow 'I choose the boring Tuesdays with you too.' Then straight to their faces."
Middle: one place
"Use only the cliffside portraits in the middle. No reception, no guests."
Close on a touch
"End on him resting his forehead on hers at the altar, hold it."
Close on a laugh
"Last beat is her laughing into his shoulder during the first dance."
What a romantic teaser needs
One voice, clearly recorded
The opening line only works if it is clean. A wireless mic feeding the camera that filmed the speaker is the difference between a teaser that starts with words and one that has to start with pictures.
Very few locations
Romantic teasers tend to stay in one or two places, often the first look spot and the portrait location, so the viewer is never pulled out to the venue logistics.
An ending that withholds
Ending on a look, a touch or a laugh rather than the kiss or the exit leaves the full story for the highlight or the longer film you deliver.
Widescreen output
The Social Teaser is delivered as a 1080p widescreen MP4; there is no vertical version, so crop for vertical platforms in your own editor if you need one.
A separate project from the highlight
Each project produces one edit, so a teaser and a highlight of the same wedding are two projects, each using a purchase or a credit.
Beats of a romantic teaser
| Beat | Purpose | How to brief it |
|---|---|---|
| Opening line | Hooks the viewer with the couple's own voice | Quote it and point to where it was said |
| First image of them | Shows who the line belongs to | Name the shot: the turn, the hands, the veil |
| Middle images | Builds closeness without explaining the day | Limit it to one or two places |
| A second line, if any | Answers the first | Only if it is short and clean; otherwise skip it |
| Closing image | Leaves the viewer wanting the longer film | A look, a touch or a laugh, held |
What is a romantic Social Teaser?
A Social Teaser is the shorter of the two WeddingEditor deliverables, made as the single edit of its project. A romantic one is built on one or two lines in the couple's voice and a handful of close images, cut by WeddingEditor's AI editing from your footage and your notes.
Not a vertical reel. The teaser is delivered in widescreen, and any vertical crop for a phone-first platform is a step you take yourself after download.
Romantic teaser questions
Should a romantic teaser use the vows or a letter line?
Whichever is cleaner and shorter. A teaser cannot let a long sentence play out, so a short line recorded on a lav usually beats a longer, more meaningful one recorded at a distance.
Can the teaser show the kiss?
It can, but many romantic teasers hold it back and end just before, leaving it for the highlight or your longer film. Say which you prefer in the must-include or avoid question.
Can I get both a romantic teaser and a highlight?
Yes, as two projects. Each project produces one edit, so create one for the Social Teaser and one for the Highlight Reel, each with its own purchase or plan credit.
Will the teaser have music under it?
A teaser usually leans on music for momentum, with the couple's line kept clear on top of it. The audio preference sets the balance: Mostly music-led for a pure mood piece, Balanced speech & music if the opening line should be heard.
How long does a romantic teaser take?
Processing typically takes 24 to 72 hours after you start it, with no guaranteed turnaround, so plan your posting date with that in mind.
