Wedding videographer burnout usually lives in the edit
For many solo wedding videographers, burnout is not the long wedding day itself. It is the evenings and weekends that follow, spent reviewing footage and building timelines while the next wedding approaches. WeddingEditor takes the edit off your evenings: upload the wedding, write down what matters, and WeddingEditor's AI editing makes the film. You still shoot, review and deliver; you stop personally making every editing decision for every wedding.
For one-person businesses who love filming weddings and are tired of what comes after.
Signing up is free; a purchase or credit is only needed when an edit starts.

How editing wears solo videographers down
No days off in season
Saturday is the wedding, Sunday is backing up, and weekday evenings are the edit. Months can pass without a free weekend.
The work follows you home
Every unfinished wedding is a couple waiting, and you know exactly how many there are, even at dinner.
The craft stops feeling creative
Hours of scrubbing footage and cutting speeches leave little energy for the parts of filmmaking you actually love.
WeddingEditor removes the longest, most repetitive part of each wedding from your week. Upload the footage the way it came off the cards and answer a few optional questions: who matters, which moments the couple will want, the feel of the film, and how speech and music should balance. WeddingEditor's AI editing builds the film, and it arrives in your project ready to watch. The hours you used to spend in the timeline can go to rest, family, clients or the next booking.
What gives you time back
Each part of WeddingEditor below replaces a task that used to take an evening.
No sorting before upload
No renaming, no proxies, no selects. Upload everything from the day into one project.
Decisions you only make once
A short set of preference questions replaces hours of choosing which clip and which line to keep.
A finished film in your project
A Highlight Reel of about five minutes or a Social Teaser, as a 1080p MP4 you can watch in the app.
Credits that roll over
Monthly plan credits carry over within the plan's limit, so a quieter month does not waste anything.
Changes by email
Up to two revision rounds per full edit. Email what the couple wants changed and the same edit is revised.
A week with the edit handed off
- 1
Sunday: upload, then stop
Upload Saturday's wedding and start the edit. That is the last thing you do with it that day.
- 2
During the week: everything else
Reply to inquiries, meet couples, plan the next shoot, or take an evening off.
- 3
When it arrives: watch once
Watch the finished edit in the app, request changes if needed, and download it.
- 4
Deliver on your schedule
Send the film to your couple when you are ready. WeddingEditor never contacts them.

Learn moreQuestions about burnout and the edit
Will handing off the edit make my films feel less like mine?
You shape each film through the preferences: the feel, the audio approach, the people and the moments. You can also add your own titles or look after download.
How much time will I get back?
There is no fixed number. You no longer review all the footage, choose every moment and build each edit yourself, which is usually the largest part of a wedding's work.
Can I hand off only some weddings?
Yes. Each wedding is its own project, so you can keep editing the ones you want to edit yourself.
What if a couple asks for changes?
Each full edit includes up to two revision rounds. Email the notes and the same edit is revised; you do not reopen a timeline.
How long does each edit take?
Typically 24 to 72 hours after processing starts. There is no guaranteed turnaround.
Do I need to change how I shoot?
No. Footage from several cameras, phones and drones can go into one project, shot the way you already shoot.
Is it a sign of failure to stop editing my own weddings?
No. Plenty of filmmakers hand off parts of the job they no longer enjoy so they can keep doing the work they love. Your couples hired you to capture their day and deliver a film that reflects it; the preferences and your review keep that true, whoever builds the cut.
