Is wedding video editing the same as post production?

Not quite. Wedding post-production is everything that happens after the shoot, from the card offload to the delivered file. Editing is the stage inside it where the film is actually cut: reviewing footage, choosing moments, trimming speeches and building the story.

Post-production also includes backup, file management, any color work, titles, export and delivery. The editing stage usually takes the most hours, which is why it is the part most often handed off.

WeddingEditor takes on the editing stage. You upload the raw footage and brief the film; its AI editing returns a finished Highlight Reel or Social Teaser as an MP4, and the rest of your post-production stays with you.
