How long should a wedding intro be?
A wedding intro usually runs well under a minute in a highlight film and only a few seconds in a teaser. It should be long enough to hook the viewer and set the mood, and short enough that the story of the day starts before anyone reaches for the skip button.
Scale the intro to the film. A WeddingEditor Highlight Reel runs about five minutes, so its opening has room to breathe before the ceremony and the day take over. A Social Teaser runs about one minute; its opening hook is the intro.
A useful test: if the intro could stand alone as its own video, it is too long. Cut until it does one job, which is pulling the viewer into the wedding.
