# Your first WeddingEditor project: from upload to download

This article walks through one wedding in WeddingEditor, from creating the project to downloading the finished film. You need a WeddingEditor account and the wedding's footage on your computer.

## Steps

1. **Create a wedding project** Sign in at app.weddingeditor.ai, create a project, name the wedding and choose the deliverable: Highlight Reel or Social Teaser. Each project has one deliverable.
2. **Upload the footage** Add the video and audio files from every camera in your browser. File names must be unique within the project, and each file can be up to 5 GB. Keep the tab open while files upload.
3. **Answer the preferences** Optional questions cover the film's feel, the audio balance, important people, must-include moments and things to avoid.
4. **Pay or use a credit** When every file has finished uploading, or has been left out on purpose, pay with One Wedding through a hosted Stripe checkout or spend a plan credit.
5. **Start processing** Processing typically takes 24 to 72 hours. There is no guaranteed time.
6. **Watch and request revisions** Watch the edit in your project. To request a revision, use the email link in the project to write to hello@weddingeditor.ai. Every full edit includes up to two revision rounds.
7. **Download and deliver** Download the 1080p MP4 from the project and deliver it to your couple yourself.

## If something goes wrong

If an upload is interrupted, come back to the project, select the same original file again and continue with the rest of the wedding. If a file will not upload, check that its name is unique in the project and that it is under 5 GB. If something went wrong with your order, contact WeddingEditor and it can be reviewed.

## Good to know

- A project needs at least one uploaded file before checkout.
- Footage is locked once the project is paid for or submitted.
- Each download link is valid for 24 hours; you can download again later from the same project.
- WeddingEditor never sends the video to your couple.
- For a Highlight Reel and a Social Teaser of the same wedding, create two projects.
