# What happens after I start processing?

After you start processing, WeddingEditor's AI editing works on your footage, and the finished edit typically appears in your project 24 to 72 hours later. Your footage is locked from that point.

When the edit is ready you can watch it in the app and download the MP4. WeddingEditor does not send anything to your couple.
