# Do I need to sort or rename clips before uploading?

No. You can upload your clips as they came off the cards, without renaming, sorting by camera, making proxies or pre-selecting the best takes first. The one rule is that file names must be unique within the project.

If two cameras produced files with the same name, rename one of them before uploading.
